TELP exists to empower Collegiate Academy and IB Students to be successful in all of their classes through dedicated work time, teacher-facilitated tutoring, and productive collaboration with peers.
Why? Collegiate Academy and IB students are studying advanced topics and many students live far from campus. The additional time after school and intentional tutoring provide the supports needed to help students experience success in a rigorous curriculum.
Student Expectations:
-Students must be enrolled as a magnet student in The Collegiate Academy or The IB Programme at Robinson High School to attend TELP
-Students must be pre-approved to attend TELP
-Students always bring work to TELP
-Students promote a productive work environment while in TELP
-Leto Students must arrive by 2:30 (Mondays) and 3:30 (Tuesdays-Fridays) to the Cafeteria to sign in/pick up the afternoon TELP snack and arrive by 2:30 (Mondays) and 3:45 (Tuesday-Fridays) to TELP in the Media Center every day to sign in. Robinson IB students must report to the Media Center as soon as possible after their bus arrives.
-Students must sign out and leave campus after leaving TELP
-Students in Grade 9 study for the PERT on an ongoing basis
-Students protect the technology, keeping computers in pristine condition with all accessories in tact and unmarked, and notify an instructor immediately when technology is not functioning.
